The UNIVATOR is a full synthesizer on your computer if you combine it with a master-keyboard or a Midi-keyboard and a good soundcard (for example the Creative Labs Audigy). The new version 9.0 is also a VSTi host. With the UNIVATOR you will receive a great deal of plug-ins, too.
Another advantage of the UNIVATOR is the enormous amount of styles (rhythms), instruments and Midi-karaoke files for any kind of athmosphere you will ever need. All together it contains the combined softwareexpertise of many developers.
Play up to 8 instruments yourself. Predifined rhythms and an accompaniment function will help you to play all YAMAHA PSR styles. The UNIVATOR is not a sequencer, it is a instrument which primary use is live performances. The high quality of software ensures a playback without any performance losses. The UNIVATOR has been tested with the great organ software B4 (Native Instruments)
The use of several soundcards is no problem for the UNIVATOR. Theoretically you can use up to 5 soundcards. Any instrument can be played by any soundcard. Because UNIVATOR contains the styles of YAMAHA PSR, the YAMAHA XG is a optional requirement for a maximum performance regarding style compatibility. So you can achive a maximum performance with all soundcards in combination with a YAMAHA sisterboard.
With Midi Yoke you have another tool to run the UNIVATOR simultaniously to another Software.
Because most users have a simple and normal soundcard we add a Creative Labs X-Fi Xtreme Gamer with a ASIO interface with 24 bits. This will enable all plug-ins within the UNIVATOR. If you have already a good soundcard you can it to any soundcard without any problems. Your UNIVATOR will even run better on many soundcards. If you have soundcard which cannot use ASIO you will receive Asio4All as an additional tool.
Additional to the Creative Labs X-Fi Xtreme Gamer software you can use a full orchestra as a GM-Set which is uploaded in your RAM. You can use this orchestra then with every other music software or just hear Midis in great quality.
The volume envelopes of the instruments in the GM-Set are configured for optimal sound, so that additional editing becomes obsolete. Direct optimal listening quality and performance is the motto!
We even top what you have with another full orchestra provided by YAMAHA. If you want to use SoundFont files without any Creative Labs soundcard you can use the tool SFZ which is also on your CD or DVD.
If you want to compose your own styles you can use the EMC software Style Works 2000 which you will get, too.
As you can see, you will receive a full package with good Midi-karaoke-files, YAMAHA software, a soundcard, General MIDI orchestras and much more!

Just click on "Weiter" and "Annehmen". Later you can choose the English language via the Setup Button to the right of the main interface. Then select the tab "Sprache (C)" and you can select the English version.
